This is How We Give Back!

One of Lindy & Friends’ core values is giving.  We embraced as an anthem the Bible verse on Acts 20:35 that says, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive,’ so that we may never forget to extend a helping hand to those in need. We believe that we can, little by little, plant small seeds in the world, seeds that will grow and produce good fruits. Our heart for children encourages us to keep raising awareness on the many issues and challenges children face in today’s world. Jesus loved children and always wanted them closer to him, and because he cared, we care too. Did you know that by taking good care of children we please Jesus’ heart? Yes, it’s His will.

-It’s better to give than to receive-

We strongly believe in the power of giving and encourage you to do more, there is always an opportunity to do good in the world, it might only take an act of generosity, just take some time to look around you and pray to God to find a great cause to support, connect yourself and let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” Galatians 6:9.

-Never give up-

Lindy & Friends found several ways to contribute with a percentage of its sales to different organizations around the world. We are currently supporting education, food sustainability, ministry leaders training, and evangelism programs targeting children and youth in third world countries; and continuously strive to be able to provide more funds in order to put the right resources in the hands of children.

Plato Lleno Cartagena de Indias is a program that rescues processed foods, those leftovers from events, supermarkets, shops, and businesses. The program avoids these type of foods from ending up inside the garbage bin, and take them to the hands of low-income families who usually eat one meal a day, or spend days without any food on their table. It’s such a wonderful way to reduce waste and feed the hungry because no one should go to sleep on an empty stomach.
